Strategic Project Lead, J.D./Legal Expertise

micro1 is seeking a Strategic Project Lead with a Juris Doctor degree to serve as the primary point of contact for top AI Lab customers. In this role, you will lead teams of domain experts to train frontier AI models, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and operational excellence within a fast-paced startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end while maintaining strong relationships with high-profile AI Lab clients.
• Manage and optimize complex, domain-specific data pipelines to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Lead teams of Human Data Managers and subject-matter experts in the legal field.
• Define, track, and optimize key performance indicators across expert-driven workflows.
• Provide executive-level insights and operational updates directly to company leadership.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in operations, data project management, or complex workflow optimization.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively alongside senior legal experts.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building solutions from the ground up in high-stakes environments.
• Background in data operations, computer science, or deep professional exposure to the legal domain.
