Strategic Project Lead, Finance Expertise

micro1 is seeking a Strategic Project Lead with deep finance expertise to join our team and manage high-impact projects for top AI Lab customers. In this role, you will lead teams of domain experts to train frontier AI models, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and operational excellence within a fast-paced, startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end, ensuring client satisfaction and high-quality delivery for top AI Lab partners.
• Manage and optimize complex, finance-specific data pipelines to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Lead teams of Human Data Managers and subject-matter experts in the finance domain.
• Define, track, and optimize key performance indicators across finance-driven workflows.
• Provide executive-level insights and updates on project performance and operational impact directly to leadership.

Requirements

• Strong background in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in managing operational processes or large-scale data projects.
• Exceptional soft skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building solutions from the ground up in high-stakes environments.
