micro1 is seeking a STEM AI Agent Research Specialist to contribute to an advanced AI training project. In this role, you will leverage your domain expertise to help train next-generation AI systems by analyzing and documenting technical workflows, ensuring that models learn and reason effectively through high-quality, real-world input.
Key responsibilities
- Review and curate historical session traces from agentic AI tools that demonstrate substantive STEM research or complex technical workflows.
- Analyze and validate the technical depth of AI-assisted problem-solving to ensure multi-step reasoning and authentic human guidance.
- Document research methodologies and specific points of human intervention within session traces.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and limitations of AI tools in STEM contexts to provide constructive feedback on performance and accuracy.
- Produce clear, concise written explanations outlining session processes, outputs, and validation steps.
Requirements
- Advanced academic or professional background in a STEM field such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- First-hand experience using local or agentic AI tools for research or technical projects beyond standard web-based chatbots.
- Strong skills in scientific reasoning, technical research, data analysis, and code debugging.
- Demonstrated ability to guide, challenge, and validate AI-generated outputs within complex problem-solving scenarios.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear technical documentation.
