Staff Software Engineer, Web (Angular)

Sprout Social is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in driving transformative product enhancements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, performant, and maintainable code for our web applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members.
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Identify and execute refactoring and optimization initiatives to improve codebase scalability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building web applications using frontend technologies like Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript.
• Fluency in agentic coding workflows such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• A business, product, and user-oriented mindset.
