Staff / Senior Software Engineer (Agentic Search) – Web Rendering Engineer

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform designed to support the global AI economy. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop the rendering infrastructure for our agent-native search platform, enabling AI agents to retrieve and process real-world information at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale rendering systems for modern web applications.
• Develop browser-based rendering infrastructure capable of executing complex JavaScript applications reliably.
• Improve rendering quality, completeness, and performance across diverse websites.
• Optimize rendering cost, latency, resource utilization, and throughput at internet scale.
• Translate rendering research into reliable production systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on production backend or infrastructure systems.
• Deep expertise in browser rendering, including the Chromium pipeline, DOM, and layout.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript execution, headless browser instrumentation, and Chrome DevTools Protocol.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular and their rendering lifecycles.
• Proven ability to design and operate high-throughput content processing pipelines.
