Staff Security Engineer

RTB House is a next-generation performance demand-side platform that uses proprietary Deep Learning AI algorithms to help brands grow. As a Staff Security Engineer, you will play a key technical role in improving the security of our systems, infrastructure, and software development practices, working across various engineering teams to identify systemic risks and design practical, secure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify systemic security risks across applications, on-prem infrastructure, cloud environments, and software development processes.
• Perform security architecture reviews for existing and new systems to ensure robust protection.
• Work directly with engineering teams to identify security weaknesses early in the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with the SOC to improve detection capabilities and translate incident findings into architectural improvements.
• Define and evolve technical security standards, engineering guidelines, and security best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in security engineering, software engineering, or infrastructure security.
• Strong hands-on experience in designing security controls for large-scale, high-throughput production environments.
• Experience performing security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and technical security assessments.
• Strong understanding of application, infrastructure, and network security, as well as modern distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
