Staff Platform Engineer

InPost is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to take on a key leadership role in shaping the future of our platform engineering strategy. This position is responsible for connecting Platform Delivery, CloudOps, DevOps, SRE, Developer Experience, and AI Foundations into a cohesive internal platform product that supports our rapidly growing international operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term Platform Engineering roadmap.
• Make strategic architectural and technology decisions across the platform domain.
• Establish engineering standards, cloud-native practices, and quality benchmarks.
• Lead the adoption of a platform-centric operating model and self-service capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership for the migration from on-premise infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform.

Requirements

• Strong background in Platform Engineering at scale.
• Broad expertise spanning Cloud, DevOps, SRE, Developer Experience, and Architecture.
• Experience building internal developer platforms and self-service ecosystems.
• Ability to influence technical decisions across multiple teams without relying on formal authority.
• Passion for mentoring senior technical talent and raising engineering standards.
