Staff DevOps & Platform Engineer

7N is seeking a highly skilled Staff DevOps & Platform Engineer to join a project within the renewable energy sector. You will play a pivotal role in architecting and scaling an Internal Developer Platform, implementing enterprise GitOps workflows, and building autonomous, self-healing infrastructure to support complex engineering needs.

Key responsibilities

• Define the technical roadmap for self-service platform engineering, zero-trust cloud security, and distributed observability.
• Optimize developer velocity by reducing build bottlenecks and streamlining onboarding processes across product squads.
• Establish engineering standards for Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and telemetry, while mentoring senior and mid-level engineers.
• Architect multi-cluster, multi-region declarative delivery models and implement zero-trust security guardrails.
• Design closed-loop self-healing systems and lead the scaling of inference and training infrastructure.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in platform and DevOps engineering.
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience with enterprise-scale Kubernetes administration.
• Strong programming proficiency in Go and Python.
• Mastery of modular Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi.
• Proven experience in designing OpenTelemetry collector topologies and building idempotent workflows.
