Key responsibilities
- Own the analytical strategy for a major product area, identifying high-leverage questions and defining measurement frameworks.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to translate complex business problems into actionable recommendations.
- Design and oversee experiments and causal analyses to ensure rigorous decision-making.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user growth dynamics, including acquisition, activation, and retention.
- Mentor other data scientists and establish team-wide analytical standards and reusable frameworks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied quantitative analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem framing to execution.
- Deep expertise in experimentation, A/B testing, and causal inference.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for analysis, modeling, and validation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to advocate for data-driven positions in cross-functional forums.
