Staff Commercial Counsel

Spring Health is a global mental health company dedicated to eliminating barriers to care through an AI-native platform. We are seeking a pragmatic and business-minded Staff Commercial Counsel to join our legal team and support our rapid growth in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, and non-disclosure contracts.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and internal stakeholders to provide practical legal guidance and manage risk.
• Support procurement activities and collaborate with Privacy, Compliance, and Security teams throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal forms, playbooks, and contracting processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage high-volume transactional matters while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within a fast-paced healthcare, health-tech, or regulated environment.
• Proven ability to identify and assess legal risks while providing business-oriented recommendations.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in an evolving landscape.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.
