Staff / Principal Cryptographer (IC)

Strattmont is a leading digital-asset custody and infrastructure platform serving the GCC region. We are seeking a Staff or Principal Cryptographer to take ownership of our cryptographic core, ensuring the security and evolution of our institutional-grade signing protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Select, justify, and evolve the MPC and TSS scheme families used in our production environment.
• Author scheme-review documents and lead technical discussions during external security audits.
• Write and review production-grade cryptographic code in Rust and Go, collaborating closely with the engineering team.
• Manage incident response by analyzing new research and advisories to update our threat models.
• Represent the company at major cryptographic venues and mentor internal engineering staff to improve cryptographic literacy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of applied cryptography experience, with at least 4 years focused on threshold signing, MPC, or secret sharing in production.
• Proven hands-on experience implementing schemes such as GG18, GG20, FROST, CGGMP21, or lattice-based threshold variants.
• Strong proficiency in Rust or Go with experience maintaining production codebases.
• A track record of public technical artifacts, such as IACR ePrints, conference talks, or contributions to open-source cryptographic libraries.
• Experience serving as the cryptography-side owner during regulated audit cycles.
