SSR Spark/Scala Developer

Talan is an international consulting group specializing in innovation and business transformation through technology. We are currently seeking an experienced SSR Spark/Scala Developer to join our team and contribute to impactful, future-ready data solutions within the Market Risk domain.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the definition and automation of processes developed using Big Data technologies, specifically Spark and Scala.
• Collaborate within a dedicated team focused on common Big Data initiatives across the organization.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to support complex business requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in technology projects, including ETL design, data modeling, testing, and data validation.
• Strong proficiency in Scala and Big Data platforms such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and basic experience with Shell scripting.
• Minimum B2 level of English, with a preference for C1 proficiency.
• Familiarity with Azure Databricks, Airflow, or experience in the banking sector is considered a significant advantage.
