SRE/Platform Engineer

Nortal is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join a cross-functional team dedicated to building and maintaining resilient, cloud-native systems. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence, performance, and automation while collaborating with architects and product teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, performance, and maintainability of complex systems and services.
• Drive observability improvements and manage configuration and change processes.
• Identify performance optimization opportunities and proactively resolve issues.
• Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and overall operational efficiency.
• Support incident management and participate in on-call rotations to maintain service quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience with highly available, distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, infrastructure-as-code, and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency with monitoring platforms like Datadog and incident management tools like PagerDuty.
• Strong automation skills with hands-on programming experience.
• Solid understanding of server administration, networking, and security principles.
