Sr. Software Engineer, AI Platform Services

Tealium is a leader in real-time Customer Data Platforms, helping global brands unify data to deliver personalized experiences. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform Services team and design the next generation of AI-enabled customer data products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services using modern Java frameworks for real-time data processing and AI-assisted workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality, observable, and governable backend capabilities.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and system design.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability for distributed services supporting agentic and AI-driven use cases.
• Participate in architectural discussions and peer code reviews to ensure adherence to high engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in Java software development.
• Extensive experience deploying software in AWS with hands-on expertise in cloud-native infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of modern DevOps principles, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience working with both NoSQL and relational databases such as DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Proven ability to build highly available, production-ready distributed systems.
