Sr Enterprise Full Stack Developer

DistantJob is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join a growing property and casualty insurance software company. This role focuses on managing enterprise solutions while driving the modernization of legacy systems and integrating cutting-edge AI tools into the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features across backend services, APIs, and database layers.
• Modernize legacy VB.NET MVC applications while supporting a strategic migration to .NET Core.
• Build and integrate AI-assisted development workflows using modern tools like ChatGPT or Claude.
• Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures within SQL Server environments.

Requirements

• 7–8+ years of full-stack development experience with the ability to own features end-to-end.
• Strong hands-on expertise in VB.NET, C#, and ASP.NET MVC architecture.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap for frontend tasks.
• 1–2+ years of practical experience using AI tools in a professional development workflow.
• Proven ability to work independently, communicate with clients, and operate within Agile frameworks.
