Sr. Desktop .NET Engineer

Jobgether is seeking a highly skilled Senior Desktop .NET Engineer to join a distributed international team for a large-scale greenfield IoT project. You will be responsible for developing modern desktop applications that interface directly with hardware, sensors, and robotics systems for a major German enterprise client.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust desktop applications using C# and .NET.
• Build modern user interfaces using WPF, WinUI, or MAUI while adhering to MVVM architecture principles.
• Develop custom UI controls and advanced 2D/3D data visualization components.
• Integrate desktop software with complex hardware devices, sensors, and robotics systems.
• Implement high-performance, multithreaded, and asynchronous solutions to ensure system stability.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core development.
• Solid background in building desktop applications using WPF, WinUI, or MAUI.
• Deep understanding of the MVVM architecture pattern and performance optimization techniques.
• B2-level German proficiency to facilitate effective communication with the client.
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly within a distributed, international engineering environment.
