SQL Server Migration Specialist

Salary: 800-950 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: remote with occasional visits in client's offices in Gdynia/Gdańsk/Warszawa (when requested)

Project

This project focuses on modernizing and standardizing the database landscape by migrating SQL Server workloads to highly available and resilient platforms. As a SQL Server Migration Specialist, you will plan, coordinate, and execute database migrations, moving applications from standalone SQL Server environments to modern infrastructure based on Always On Availability Groups and high-availability solutions.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Plan and execute SQL Server migration projects

• Migrate databases to resilient platforms and Always On Availability Groups

• Coordinate migration activities with application, infrastructure, and business teams

• Administer and support SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 environments

• Configure and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions

• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization

• Manage migration risks, dependencies, and production cutovers

• Ensure compliance with governance, change management, and security standards
