SQL Database Architect

Cyclad is currently seeking an experienced SQL Database Architect to join a project for a global IT company. You will be responsible for designing and developing robust enterprise database solutions that meet high performance and scalability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Designing SQL database architectures and comprehensive technical solutions.
• Defining database standards and establishing industry best practices.
• Designing scalable, highly available, and high-performing database environments.
• Reviewing existing architectures and recommending strategic improvements.
• Cooperating closely with database, infrastructure, and application teams.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with SQL databases, with a strong focus on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proven professional experience in database architecture and solution design.
• Strong knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, performance, and security.
• Experience in designing complex, large-scale enterprise database environments.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and make critical architectural decisions.
• Very good command of the English language.
