Spanish (Spain) to English Pharmacovigilance Linguist

Welo Life Sciences is seeking experienced Spanish to English linguists to join a high-volume pharmacovigilance program for a leading global pharmaceutical company. This role focuses on the translation and review of critical safety and regulatory documentation within a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate pharmacovigilance and clinical-regulatory content from Spanish into English.
• Perform machine translation post-editing on safety-related documentation.
• Conduct thorough copy editing to ensure accuracy, tone, and consistency.
• Maintain strict adherence to non-extendable turnaround times for time-sensitive safety content.

Requirements

• Degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field with significant translation training.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience translating medical documentation, specifically within pharmacovigilance or clinical-regulatory sectors.
• Proven experience with documents such as SAE/AE reports, PSURs, SUSARs, ICSRs, or Risk Management Plans.
• Strong proficiency in Spanish and excellent command of English.
• Experience using XTM or similar CAT tools.
• Ability to commit to consistent daily availability and meet tight deadlines.
