SONiC Expert

CodiLime is a software and network engineering expert partnering with global hardware providers and telecoms to build and maintain production-grade networking solutions. We are looking for a SONiC Expert to lead the design, qualification, and hardening of SONiC platform releases across diverse hardware and ASIC architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Leading the end-to-end qualification and shipping of robust SONiC releases on physical switch targets.
• Designing and debugging core SONiC subsystems, including SWSS, syncd, Redis databases, and Linux services.
• Systematically isolating failures across NOS application software, SAI, and silicon SDKs.
• Architecting automated regression workflows using Pytest, PTF, and Ansible within CI/CD pipelines.
• Conducting rigorous code reviews and mentoring team members to maintain high software quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven track record of shipping and hardening production-grade SONiC platforms on physical hardware.
• Expert-level experience with SWSS, syncd, Redis state databases, and SAI.
• Strong C/C++ and Python engineering skills in Linux environments, including IPC and socket programming.
• Deep understanding of L2/L3 networking standards such as BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, and QoS.
• Proficiency with Linux networking internals, kernel debugging tools, and containerization workflows.
• Strong English communication skills for technical documentation and vendor collaboration.
