Solution Architect

Altimi is a technology acceleration partner with over 20 years of experience, specializing in delivering high-quality software development projects for international clients. We are currently seeking an independent Solution Architect to act as a Technical Advisor for a custom software project in the travel and hospitality sector, ensuring the system remains sound, maintainable, and vendor-independent.

Key responsibilities

• Review proposed architectures to ensure alignment with business goals and identify potential technical debt.
• Assess data models, module boundaries, and integration strategies for legacy system migrations.
• Establish and monitor standards for security, testing, logging, and documentation.
• Evaluate CI/CD processes, deployment approaches, and system resilience against external outages.
• Document risks and provide actionable technical recommendations to ensure project success and vendor neutrality.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of technical experience in roles such as Solution Architect, Principal Engineer, or CTO.
• Proven track record in auditing large-scale business systems and evaluating architectural trade-offs.
• Strong expertise in code review, technical due diligence, and managing complex API integrations.
• Solid understanding of application security, data protection, and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Ability to work independently and challenge vendor recommendations to protect the client's interests.
