Solution Architect

FIEGE is a family-owned leader in logistics and digital solutions with over 150 years of history. We are currently seeking a Solution Architect to lead the definition and evolution of our application architectures, focusing on transforming legacy systems into modern, cloud-native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern target application architecture with a focus on cloud-native principles.
• Design migration strategies to transition legacy environments to modern cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with development teams to promote best practices like CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps.
• Translate complex business objectives into scalable, resilient, and secure technical solutions.
• Facilitate technical decision-making and drive technological change across the organization.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in designing cloud application architectures.
• Proficiency with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native patterns including microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with enterprise relational databases and modern programming languages like Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and integration technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
