Solution Architect (Payments)

DataArt is seeking a skilled Solution Architect to join an international payments technology company. You will play a pivotal role in defining and guiding the architecture for card acquiring and payment processing systems, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and resilient.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve solution architecture for card acquiring, including authorization, switching, routing, clearing, and settlement.
• Design end-to-end transaction flows for both card-present and card-not-present scenarios.
• Develop integration patterns with card schemes, banks, and payment gateways, utilizing ISO 8583 standards.
• Establish resilience and failure-handling patterns for high-throughput, low-latency transaction processing.
• Ensure all architectural designs comply with PCI DSS and payment security requirements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Architect within the card acquiring or payment processing domain.
• Deep understanding of the acquiring transaction lifecycle and real-time switching systems.
• Strong practical knowledge of ISO 8583, EMV, and 3-D Secure transaction flows.
• Proven ability to design high-availability, high-throughput, and low-latency distributed systems.
• Strong software engineering background with the ability to contribute directly to production code.
