Solution Architect (m/f/d)

FIEGE is a family-owned leader in logistics and digital solutions with over 150 years of history. We are looking for a Solution Architect to lead the definition and evolution of our application architectures, driving a strategic modernization program to transform legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern target application architecture with a focus on cloud-native principles.
• Design migration strategies for legacy environments to modern cloud platforms.
• Define architectural patterns including microservices, event-driven systems, and API-first designs.
• Collaborate with development teams to promote best practices like CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps.
• Translate complex business objectives into evolutionary technical solutions and architectural documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in IT or engineering disciplines.
• At least 5 years of experience in designing cloud application architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless computing.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with distributed systems, integration tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ, and enterprise relational databases.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
