Software Quality Engineering Manager

We are seeking a Software Quality Engineering Manager to lead quality assurance across multiple product lines and concurrent projects, ensuring high-quality releases while driving consistent testing practices and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development.
• Own the QA strategy and test planning, including functional, regression, and release testing across assigned product lines.
• Lead the transition from manual to automated testing, building automation into sprint delivery.
• Champion the organization's move toward an AI-driven development lifecycle by identifying where AI-assisted testing can accelerate coverage.
• Act as the primary QA point of contact, collaborating with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to communicate quality status and risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software QA, including 2+ years in a leadership or team management role.
• Demonstrated experience leading a team's transition from manual to automated testing.
• Strong understanding of test automation principles and the test pyramid.
• Familiarity with risk-based testing and regression planning for enterprise SaaS products.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to present quality status to technical and non-technical audiences.
