Software Engineer

GE Aerospace is seeking an early-career Software Engineer to join our team and help advance the future of flight through data, cloud, and AI technologies. You will work on strategic projects, owning solutions from architecture and design through to production deployment, while collaborating with diverse teams to solve complex engineering challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production-grade solutions, including LLM-powered applications, machine learning models, and APIs.
• Consult on architecture and deliver technical solutions for business-strategic projects.
• Own features end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Build and present product architectures, participate in code reviews, and demo applications to stakeholders.
• Apply cloud platforms, data engineering, and modern web technologies to drive measurable business value.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline.
• 0–2 years of professional experience in software engineering, data, or AI.
• Proficiency in programming and debugging with Python, C++, Go, or Rust.
• Hands-on experience with databases, SQL, and public cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Practical experience in Machine Learning, Large Language Models, or Computer Vision.
