Software Engineer (Node.js)

Miquido is a company that places AI at the core of its development process, moving beyond simple integration to redefine how backend systems are built. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and help design the next generation of AI-driven backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own backend services end-to-end, from initial design and development to deployment and client communication.
• Build robust integration layers over diverse systems, including e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and LLM APIs.
• Work with modern AI tooling, continuously testing and implementing new technologies as they emerge.
• Collaborate within small, multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact technical solutions.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of commercial backend experience with a strong focus on Node.js and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, including REST API design, GraphQL, and OpenAPI.
• Proficiency in SQL with PostgreSQL and experience using ORMs like Prisma or TypeORM.
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Genuine curiosity about AI-assisted coding and a willingness to integrate tools like Cursor or Claude Code into your daily workflow.
• Strong communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with clients on technical topics.
