Software Engineer (Kotlin&Java)

We are currently seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to a major European e-commerce platform, helping to transform its automotive category into a specialized, high-performance marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Build and evolve microservices architecture, ensuring high reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Design the architecture of new modules and contribute to key technical decisions within the project.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Analysts, and UX Designers to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to enhance daily software development workflows.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in both Kotlin and Java with hands-on experience in Spring Boot.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices-based solutions.
• Ability to design new system modules and proactively optimize existing backend components.
• Commitment to software engineering best practices and high-quality, well-tested code.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams to define and refine technical requirements.
• Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or similar.
