Software Engineer in Test in the EU

Andersen is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join a project focused on modernizing retail technology and building a scalable enterprise data and analytics platform for a major financial services provider. You will play a key role in ensuring data quality and reliability within a complex, data-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build a data test automation framework from scratch and develop test code alongside developers.
• Analyze data testing requirements and define comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and perform automated data reconciliation.
• Test data transformations, ETL processes, and validate data within Databricks and Power BI reports.
• Work with AI/LLMs to enhance testing approaches and ensure consistent results across the enterprise application.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in data testing and enterprise-scale platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, databases, and data validation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, ETL pipeline testing, and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
