Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain innovative product features while actively learning new areas of the platform.
• Collaborate with product owners to gain insights and provide constructive suggestions for improvements.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions to shape the next generation of Sezzle features.
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain high standards within the codebase.
• Mentor other engineers and assist in project planning, estimation, and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated experience solving technical problems as part of a collaborative team.
• Proficiency in using AI tools like Claude to enhance productivity and communication.
• Experience with modern frontend development, specifically React.
• Ability to solve complex problems using backend languages such as Go or similar statically typed languages.
• Intermediate understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
