Software Engineer (DevOps)

Revolut is a global financial platform dedicated to providing customers with more control and freedom over their money. We are currently seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a DevOps focus to join our Developer Experience team, where you will build scalable infrastructure and streamline processes to empower our developers to deliver high-quality products efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Managing source control setups to enhance collaboration and code integration across engineering teams.
• Developing and implementing configuration management using Infrastructure as Code to ensure high levels of abstraction.
• Monitoring and optimizing cloud resource costs to maintain operational efficiency and minimize waste.
• Implementing robust observability solutions to ensure proactive system monitoring and performance tracking.
• Ensuring strict compliance with industry standards through the use of automated processes and continuous checks.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience, particularly as a Python backend developer.
• Proven experience working with major cloud providers such as AWS or GCP.
• Solid understanding of Linux environments and containerization using Docker.
• Expertise in continuous delivery systems and Kubernetes for scalable application deployment.
• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts, including load balancing, networking, and security.
