Software Engineer (Data)

Motife Sp. z o.o. is seeking a skilled Software Engineer (Data) to join a dynamic team focused on building scalable foundations for next-generation data and machine learning systems. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data, and AI, where you will bridge the gap between experimentation and production to support a global marketing automation platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable high-throughput data pipelines across complex data ecosystems.
• Build and optimize data models, schemas, and database structures to ensure long-term performance.
• Implement engineering best practices, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Partner with AI and Data Science teams to productionize machine learning solutions and develop scalable MLOps pipelines.
• Monitor and improve the reliability of containerized environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and Airflow.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development and scalable production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and solid understanding of clean architecture and maintainable code practices.
• Experience with data-intensive applications, SQL, and database modeling.
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Ownership mindset and ability to thrive in fast-moving, evolving environments.
