Software Engineer (Backend)

Maisa AI is a fast-growing, early-stage startup focused on Agentic Process Automation. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and help build scalable, reliable backend solutions that reshape how enterprises deploy AI.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Go and Python within a microservices architecture on Kubernetes.
• Own features end-to-end, managing the process from technical design through to deployment and iteration.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested, production-ready code and actively participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help maintain high technical standards across the engineering team.

Requirements

• 3-7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.
• Production experience with Go and Python, with a willingness to ramp up on Go if needed.
• Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and containerized services in production.
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, and AWS infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
