Software Engineer (Android)

Miquido is seeking a skilled Android Engineer to join a cross-functional team dedicated to a leading European micro-mobility platform. You will contribute to a high-impact rider-facing application, focusing on delivering a reliable and seamless user experience for millions of daily commuters.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features for the Android rider application in collaboration with backend, product, and design teams.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable Kotlin code while utilizing Jetpack Compose for modern UI development.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from technical design to production monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate progress and improve team processes.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and its application in production environments.
• Practical experience with Coroutines and Flows for asynchronous and reactive programming.
• Proven track record of shipping production-grade, client-facing mobile applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, communicative approach to teamwork.
