Software Engineer | Propr.xyz

Propr.xyz is developing a cutting-edge Operating System for proprietary trading firms, integrating blockchain technology to enhance operational efficiency. We empower firms to utilize perpetual futures, prediction markets, and spot assets, and we are currently deploying our solutions to some of the largest prop firms globally.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services within the trading domain.
• Take full ownership of features from schema design and API development to testing and UI integration.
• Contribute to the development of real-time infrastructure and client-facing APIs.
• Develop and maintain integration tests against real-world dependencies to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or other strongly typed programming languages.
• Proven experience with trading systems, financial infrastructure, or exchange-adjacent domains.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and transaction management.
• Experience with modern Node.js backend frameworks, such as NestJS, and proficiency in SQL with production ORMs.
• Ability to handle arbitrary precision decimal arithmetic in financial contexts and ship React or Next.js features to completion.
