Software Engineer- Full-Stack Dungeons and Dragons-Engineering

Wizards of the Coast is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our Dungeons & Dragons team. You will play a key role in designing and building the next generation of digital tools for D&D Beyond, contributing to a platform that connects players around the world through imagination and play.

Key responsibilities

• Build high-quality solutions using modern web technologies including TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Write maintainable code and participate in peer reviews to ensure high standards.
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate within an Agile team, participating in planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in modern web development with a strong grasp of OOP and DDD concepts.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and advanced CSS/HTML5.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs with a focus on security.
• Familiarity with AWS serverless architecture and backend development.
• Fluent English communication skills and a collaborative, curious mindset.
