Software Engineer - Backend (B2B)

Sprout Social is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will work within our Partnerships and Ecosystems team, focusing on delivering new network capabilities and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers at a massive scale.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, well-tested, and reviewable code using technologies such as Java, Python, MySQL, NSQ, Hbase, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define requirements and complete feature work.
• Own the code you write and deploy to production, while identifying and communicating potential risks.
• Review pull requests and design documents from peers to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience developing and supporting software in a production environment.
• Minimum 2 years of programming experience in object-oriented languages like Java, C#, Python, or C++.
• Professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building and scaling reliable systems.
