Software Development Engineer in Test Responsibilities

DCG is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to join a team working on a greenfield debt management platform. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality software delivery within a distributed, event-driven architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios for functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites across UI, API, and end-to-end layers.
• Integrate automated testing processes directly into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product owners within an Agile environment to define and meet quality standards.
• Monitor system performance and quality metrics using tools like Grafana to ensure platform stability.

Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in QA engineering, with at least 2 years at a senior level.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, xUnit, and modern automation frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.
• Proven experience testing distributed systems, REST APIs, and asynchronous event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and experience with PostgreSQL.
• Excellent command of the English language for effective cross-team collaboration.
