Software Development Engineer in Test (Python QA)

XM is looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of our core Forex brokerage platform by developing robust automation frameworks and performance testing strategies in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery and quality across the entire development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain functional and performance automation tests using Python.
• Build and integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing processes.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical test plans and procedures.
• Share technical expertise and mentor team members to foster a culture of quality.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in quality assurance and Python development.
• Strong hands-on experience in designing and developing automated tests.
• Solid understanding of REST API testing and version control using Git.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
