Experience in delivering web applications in a comprehensive way - taking care of databases, code quality and coding best practices, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Craft and refine advanced SQL queries to support reliable storage and fast access to data
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and integration tools, primarily in Python, that connect with the core product
• Follow best engineering practices, such as automated testing, clean and maintainable code, and thoughtful design choices
• Contribute to architectural discussions and work closely with peers to influence technical direction
• Guarantee data reliability, availability, and high performance throughout the system

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of SQL with hands-on experience in relational database systems (PostgreSQL is especially valued)
• Demonstrated ability to deliver robust, production-level solutions and make sound engineering decisions
• Openness to working in Python; experience in Python or other programming languages is advantageous
• A structured, analytical approach with focus on building sustainable and high-quality solutions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively

Nice to Have

• Background in handling performance optimization and working with sizable datasets
• Understanding of database architecture and data modeling concepts
• Familiarity with Python testing libraries and practices
