Software Developer

micro1 is seeking skilled Software Developers to contribute to an innovative project focused on training next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will apply your development expertise to create reinforcement learning environments, helping AI models learn to solve practical software engineering problems through high-quality, real-world input.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute clear code samples, debugging approaches, and development insights in languages such as Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and logic errors across diverse codebases.
• Build small to medium features while adhering to best coding practices to ensure solutions remain clean and maintainable.
• Refactor and improve existing code to enhance overall readability and system reliability.
• Document your technical reasoning and decision-making processes to support the quality of AI training data.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of core algorithms, data structures, and standard software engineering practices.
• Proven ability to debug real-world code, identify root causes, and implement clean fixes.
• Comfortable navigating unfamiliar codebases and adapting to new technical environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
