Software Architect (Java) in Germany

Andersen is seeking a skilled Software Architect (Java) to join a project focused on developing a scalable energy platform. You will contribute to a critical infrastructure system that supports digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and efficient balancing services procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate software architecture for a critical on-premises platform.
• Define architecture standards and ensure compliance with ISMS and BSI KRITIS requirements.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation.
• Support integration across various platform products and validate software components.
• Coach and provide training to development team members.

Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Java development (Java 8–21) and strong expertise in the Spring ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate, Oracle SQL, Camunda, and Hazelcast IMDG.
• Strong knowledge of security implementations including OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
• Proficiency in integration technologies such as REST, AMQP, gRPC, and OpenAPI.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in both English and German.
