micro1 is seeking experienced Sociology Teachers at the postsecondary level to contribute their disciplinary expertise to an innovative education-focused project. In this role, you will apply your academic knowledge to help train next-generation AI systems, ensuring that models learn and reason through high-quality, real-world sociological input.

Key responsibilities

• Design assessment tasks rooted in sociological concepts, ensuring prompts are clear, measurable, and suitable for educational application.
• Create high-quality rubrics that align with established pedagogical frameworks, such as Bloom's taxonomy.
• Review and provide detailed, actionable feedback on educational materials to promote clarity, rigor, and academic authenticity.
• Synthesize relevant sociological literature and research to inform content development and ensure academic integrity.
• Collaborate asynchronously with domain experts and project stakeholders to refine materials iteratively.

Requirements

• PhD or ABD in Sociology or a closely related discipline.
• Active record of teaching and research or publication at the postsecondary level.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing high-quality assessment tasks and rubrics.
• Deep knowledge of pedagogical principles and assessment frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex sociological theories into clear, actionable content.
