Key responsibilities

• Schedule and manage daily content across Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, and TikTok, including breaking news and evergreen posts.
• Create engaging social graphics using design tools and edit short-form video content for social distribution.
• Write compelling captions and copy that align with Polygon's unique voice to drive user interaction.
• Monitor performance data to adjust strategies and identify trending topics or reactive content opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the editorial team to maximize the reach and impact of our stories.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing social media accounts at scale, with a deep understanding of platform algorithms.
• Strong creative skills, including the ability to produce static social imagery and edit short-form videos.
• Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools to track and optimize performance.
• A strong interest in gaming and gaming media, combined with experience in digital publishing.
• Ability to provide flexible availability to cover major industry events and breaking news cycles.
