About the project, We are seeking experienced Snowflake professionals to support a short-term engagement focused on preparing a secure and scalable data environment for a U.S. business divestiture process., , The objective of the project is to design, configure, and maintain a dedicated Azure-based data environment (“data room”) supporting due diligence activities during a sales process., , The engagement is expected to last approximately 3 months (July–October) and will involve close collaboration with infrastructure and analytics teams to ensure reliable access to structured data for analysis and reporting., , Scope includes setup of Azure subscription down to resource group level, provisioning of Snowflake workspaces, and ongoing operational support throughout the due diligence phase.
Your responsibilities, Design and implement Snowflake architecture on Azure cloud environment, Configure Azure subscription, including resource groups and network/security components, Set up and manage Snowflake environments/workspaces for due diligence purposes, Ensure secure access management, identity integration, and compliance requirements, Define best practices for environment provisioning, monitoring, and cost control, Support environment stability and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues, Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business and security needs, Utilize configured Snowflake environments to perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis, Build and optimize SQL-based data models to support due diligence reporting, Develop and maintain data pipelines within Snowflake, Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance optimization, Support ad-hoc analytical requests from business and deal teams, Work closely with architecture and DevOps functions to ensure efficient data access
Strong experience with Snowflake architecture and administration in Azure environments, Hands-on experience with Azure services (subscriptions, resource groups, IAM, networking), Proven experience in setting up secure enterprise data platforms, Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and access control models, Experience in DevOps practices, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform preferred), Ability to work in time-sensitive, transaction-driven environments (M&A, data rooms a plus), Strong proficiency in Snowflake and SQL, Experience in building data models and performing complex data analysis, Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development, Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with large datasets, Experience supporting financial, sales, or due diligence analytics is an advantage, Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
