Snowflake Data Engineer

Experis Manpower Group is seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to join their growing Data and Analytics team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a leading firm, focusing on developing and deploying robust big data pipelines in a cloud-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy big data pipelines within a Snowflake cloud data warehouse environment.
• Design, develop, and migrate existing on-premise ETL routines to cloud-based services.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and contribute to the successful delivery of key workstreams.
• Design and optimize model codes to ensure faster execution and improved performance.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on development experience in data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling, roles, schemas, and security policies.
• Practical experience with Snowflake Tasks, Streams, and Stages.
• Proficiency in data integration using tools such as Matillion, DBT, or Informatica.
• Solid understanding of AWS services like S3, Lambda, EMR, and Glue, alongside experience with Kafka and NiFi.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python, with the ability to handle large datasets and perform complex data wrangling.
