Snowflake Data Engineer (Energy sector project)

Link Group is looking for a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will design and deliver modern, scalable data solutions for the energy sector, helping our clients extract maximum value from their data through advanced cloud-based architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Snowflake data pipelines within cloud environments.
• Develop and optimize complex ETL/ELT processes, including migrating on-premise workflows to the cloud.
• Implement robust Snowflake data models, including schemas, databases, roles, and security policies.
• Build and maintain critical Snowflake objects such as Tasks, Streams, and Stages.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Big Data, or Cloud Data Platform development.
• Proven hands-on experience developing and maintaining production-grade solutions using Snowflake.
• Strong SQL skills and deep understanding of data modelling, security policies, and permissions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with ETL/ELT development, data integration frameworks, and Agile delivery methodologies.
