Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager

Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and the publisher of Ubuntu, the platform for AI, IoT, and cloud computing. We are seeking a Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager to join our global team and drive strategic partnerships with the world's leading semiconductor companies.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Canonical and its software solutions to key silicon partners.
• Analyze partner strategies and roadmaps to identify opportunities for integration with Canonical products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and marketing teams to define joint solutions and programs.
• Develop and execute Go-To-Market strategies, including market messaging and product launch plans.
• Manage complex project plans and negotiate successful partnership contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, technology, or engineering field.
• Solid understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem.
• Proven experience in business development, technology strategy, or customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical information.
• Self-motivated and disciplined approach to working in a fully remote environment.
• Experience with software and system architecture is highly preferred.
