Signal Processing & Data Analysis Specialist (f/m/x)

Sii is seeking a highly skilled Signal Processing & Data Analysis Specialist to join our Data Science team. In this role, you will provide critical technical guidance to migration, engineering, and clinical teams, ensuring a deep understanding of algorithm behavior and output characteristics during complex system transitions.

Key responsibilities

• Providing technical guidance on signal processing to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on algorithm behavior and expected outputs.
• Analyzing complex datasets to identify deviations, edge cases, and anomalies using advanced statistical methods.
• Deconstructing existing signal processing logic and producing clear documentation to support validation efforts and knowledge transfer.
• Designing validation frameworks and defining tolerance thresholds for comparing algorithm outputs across different environments.
• Developing workflows to verify the consistency of algorithmic outputs and resolving data-integrity issues in collaboration with engineers.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in algorithm or software validation, specifically with large tabular or CSV datasets.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Solid understanding of digital signal processing and time-series analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, including libraries such as SciPy, NumPy, or pandas.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-specialist stakeholders.
