Shopify Specialist

micro1 is seeking an experienced Shopify Specialist to contribute subject-matter expertise to a project focused on e-commerce workflows and analytics. In this role, you will leverage your deep domain knowledge to help train next-generation AI systems, ensuring that models learn from high-quality, real-world inputs and accurate platform logic.

Key responsibilities

• Review Shopify and e-commerce task structures to ensure they align with actual platform workflows and data models.
• Provide actionable feedback on the realism and completeness of analytical scenarios and deliverables.
• Advise on core Shopify data objects, including orders, products, customers, and reporting, to ensure accuracy.
• Identify gaps, edge cases, or unrealistic assumptions in scenario framing based on your hands-on experience.
• Recommend improvements to task structures and terminology based on industry best practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of deep, hands-on experience within the Shopify ecosystem, including store operations, development, or analytics.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Shopify's data model and standard e-commerce analytics metrics.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical feedback clearly and effectively.
• Experience advising on best practices for structuring analytical work within the e-commerce sector.
• Familiarity with Shopify Plus and advanced reporting tools is considered a significant advantage.
